This thesis analyzes the requirements imposed on applications for teaching foreign languages and proposes a structure and functions of a program fulfilling these requirements in a specific case of Lithuanian language. Cílem semestrální práce “Elektrotechnika – komentovaný překlad” je překlad českého odborného textu do angličtiny, který slouží jako studijní materiál pro studenty elektrotechnologie, a provést komparativní analýzu originálu a přeloženého textu. Zdrojový text je rozdělen do devíti kapitol, z kterých bylo vybráno několik výňatků na nichž byla následně provedena analýza z lingvistického hlediska. Každý z nich se zabývá jinou oblastí elektrotechniky a použivá k tomu odlišnou škálu odborných výrazů. Tato bakalářská práce take nabízí základní teorii zabývající se překladem textů psaných ve stylu vědy a techniky.
Measurement in Electrical Engineering – Digital Learning Materials

Cílem bakalářské práce je poskytnout podklady pro tvorbu digitálních učebních materiálů pro předmět „Měření v elektrotechnice“. Práce je zaměřena na samotný koncept digitálních učebních materiálů a na metodologii tvorby digitálních učebních materiálů. Dále se práce zabývá studijními požadavky samotného předmětu („Měření v elektrotechnice“), nezbytnými teoretickými východisky pro tvorbu didaktických textů a také požadavky na návrh. Navíc práce obsahuje dva návrhy digitálního učebního materiálu, prezentaci a pracovní list.

Bachelor's thesis on the theme self learning system deal with problems self learning both in term of theoretic and practical. It explains principles of the human teaching and its efficient exploitation with the view to achievement better results with less exertion studying. Substantial part of bachelor's thesis is algorithm design respecting theoretic piece of knowledge and suitable for computer program fuelling self learning and practical implementation of web application containing articles, textbooks, chaps and cards from which student is able to set a test. Principle of application is based on self classification of student. Questions in test are iterative according to time and self classification. Application can help for quicker and superior mastered to learning.
Motivation Methods for Students in Russian Language Textbooks

The thesis deals with the issue of motivation of learning Russian as a second foreign language at Czech lower secondary schools. The main aim of the thesis is to determine the level of motivation of teaching aids for Russian language for lower secondary school pupils in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part the concepts of motivation, motivation to learn and teaching aids for foreign language and their role in motivation are explained. In the practical part, three textbooks for Russian language teaching are analysed: Классные друзья, Времена and Поехали. The analysis is based on the criteria developed by the author of the thesis. The conducted research shows that the above- mentioned textbooks are motivating for Russian language teaching, but they have some weaknesses in structure, motivational aspect, clarity of tasks and content. On the basis of the analysis, recommendations for motivating students in using these teaching aids are proposed. Stalinist Period in Czechoslovakia - Its Interpretation and Teaching in Secondary Education

1950s may be classified as one of the worst periods in Czechoslovakia's history. The totalitarian communist regime in the period between 1948 and 1953 is called the Stalinism. The primary objective hereof was to evaluate teaching about the Stalinism period in Czechoslovakia in secondary schools, in particular, to assess the scope of correctness and completeness of the related curriculum and teaching methods. The secondary objective hereof was to introduce and describe the Stalinism as a typical example of totalitarianism and to define crucial elements of this non-democratic form of government using the example of Czechoslovakia from 1948 to 1953. The thesis proceeds from the theoretical part via a case study to the practical part. The first part classifies totalitarianism, defines its historical outset and determines its main features. The second chapter describes and explains the Stalinism, which is a typical example of totalitarianism having functioned in practice in the Soviet Union from where it spread to the majority of the Communist countries, including Czechoslovakia. Computational thinking development of pupils in the Early Years

The master's thesis addresses the topic of developing computational thinking at the primary school. The theoretical part defines the fundamental concepts of computational thinking and its components, digital literacy. The theoretical part also includes an analysis of the curriculum for elementary school and its changes in the field of computer science focused on the primary school. The basic concepts of computational thinking are characterized, and the issues in the curriculum in the Czech Republic and abroad are outlined. The theoretical part includes an analysis of textbooks for teaching computational thinking at the primary school, mainly analyzing the textbook by Berki, J., and Drábková, J. (2020) Foundations of Informatics for the primary school, along with specific chapters for its practical verification. The practical part describes the preparation and implementation of a research survey at the primary school. The aim was to assess the level of computational thinking among students, conduct lessons using the informatics textbook, and determine the impact of teaching on the development of computational thinking. Comparison of chosen Czech and German secondary school history textbooks focusing on the expulsion of German population after World War II and its didactic concept

This thesis deals with a comparison of selected Czech and German secondary school history textbooks with a focus on the topic of the expulsion of the German population after World War II. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of the school systems of both countries (in the case of the Federal Republic of Germany using the example of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia), the subject of history in Czech and German curricular documents and content in the selected textbooks. In the next chapter, the textbooks are analysed from the point of view of the presentation of the content in verbal and illustrative form, as well as from the point of view of the apparatus of orientation and management of the acquisition of the subject matter. This is followed by a chapter on the historical background of Czech-German relations. The analytical part of the thesis includes the content and understanding of the topic in Czech and German textbooks, an analysis of the working parts of the textbooks and a questionnaire survey. Characteristic of ESP written communication

Cílem této bakalářské práce je definovat, co je to angličtina pro specifické účely, vymezit její styly a žánry. Tato práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. V první části je stručně představen anglický jazyk pro specifické účely a jeho historie. Jsou zde přiblíženy styly tohoto jazyka a je vysvětleno jejich použití. Ve druhé části jsem definoval žánry tohoto jazyka, vysvětlil účel každého z nich a ukázal, jak se dále dělí. Ve třetí části jsou prezentovány části textů, jež jsou analyzovány a porovnány: dva texty z elektrotechniky a dva texty z medicíny. V obou oblastech je porovnáván úryvek z populárně vědeckého článku a učebnice. Analýza je provedena ve čtyřech kategoriích: koheze, deixe, signposting a hedge. Tyto výsledky jsou porovnány nejdříve ve stejném oboru mezi rozlišnými styly a následně mezi odlišnými obory – elektrotechnika a medicína. Všechny výsledky jsou komentovány.
